Stampavie Design Team

Hi everyone, Firstly please accept my apologise for not adding any posts recently but my broadband keeps going down, I finally found a solution today as my hubby bought me a mobile broadband connection to use when my home connection is down.

The cards today are for my application to become a member of the Stampavie Design Team, I really would be honoured to be part of their team as I adore their stamps. I must though apologise for the photography as I had to scan them because my hubbies camera batteries died on me - its always the way when you need to get something done asap everything goes wrong!

This first card uses one of the Sarah Kay stamps called Roses Garden, I've coloured the image with Faber Castell Polychromos pencils and blended the colours with Sansador (Odourless Mineral Spirit/Gamsol), Then I used K & Co papers from the Roam collection and finished the card with paper flowers. The stamped image was cut to shape using a Creative Memories creative cutter. This particular image was the first Stampavie stamp I bought and it still remains one of my favorites, she is just so cute and this image can be used for so many occasions.

This second card was made using one of the Stampavie Lelo Design stamps called Natural Boy. The image is stamped using Versafine black ink and coloured with Faber Castell Polychromos pencils and blended with Sansador (odourless mineral spirit/Gamsol). I used papers and ribbon from Hot off the Press, a border punch from woodware and buttons from my button drawer. Once again the stamped image was shaped using the creative memories cutters.

As I've already said it would be a dream come true to become part of the Stampavie Design Team, I love working with their products and have so many things I'd like to try but I can only submit a small number of projects to making cards magazine a month.

I purchased my Stampavie stamps from Crafts U Love but if you are interested in finding a Stampavie supplier near you then please visit their website at http:/www.stampavie.com and they have a list of suppliers worldwide, you can also see all the current and soon to be released stamps on their website too. One final thing that you may like to know about Stampavie is that the run a reward scheme - if you have a project accepted and published in a genuine paper magazine that is on sale to the general public then they will reward you with five stamps of your choosing, so again check out their website for the full details on this reward scheme.

Anyway that's it from me for now, hopefully there will be no more broadband problems - heehee
