Wooden Stand

Hi everyone, I hope you are all having a great weekend, weather here in the south of England is dull and overcast but as theres no rain I'm not going to complain. For this post I only have one card but as it's early in the day that could change.

I decided that I really should make use of all the hundreds of stamps that I already own so I dug out my big box of Art Impression Watercolour stamps to make this card. I cannot believe that I haven't played with these recently as I really do enjoy making up scenes with them and they are so easy to use. The stamps have been inked up with Marvy Le Plume markers and stamped onto watercolour paper, I then dragged out some of the colour with a slightly damp paintbrush to add a watercolour feel and also added extra colour with the paintbrush in other areas. When I purchased the stamps I bought them from a UK company call Sir Stampalot whose web address can be found in this blogs side bar under craft shopping. I think as I now have the box of stamps out I will have to use them more, I had forgotten just how many I had and as I have another magazine deadline coming up for Christmas submissions I think some of the stamps from this collection might do the job although I have just bought some Stampavie Christmas stamps that I could use too - it's so hard deciding.

Anyway I'm going to end this post here for now and go off to play with my craft supplies while the rest of the family are still in dreamland.
