Blog Hop with Sew Many Cards and PaperCraft Planet

Hi Everyone

So as promised, here is my Christmas Card for the Sew Many Cards group event being held today on PaperCraft Planet for World Card Making Day. If you have missed all the details about everything that is going on today and the chances to win Sewn Together images then please read my post below this that has all the Sew Many Cards World Card Making Day details listed and how to be a winner!!

My fellow Sew Many Cards team mates are also playing along today so why not visit them too, they are :- Deanette , Georgia , Jennifer , Jeri , Kim , Sarabeth , Sheila and of course me! Also please could you leave us all some love - ta!

So for my card I decided to follow the Challenge recipe that is a part of Sew Many Cards World Card making Day event (see post below for details) As the challenge was I Christmas card I decided to use the new Penguin image that Angela released last Monday - isn't he just adorable!! As it's for Christmas I wanted him and the papers to be bright and vivid so I used my copics to colour him (yes I know any excuse to use them!), I used some patterned papers from Dovecraft that are from a collection from a few years ago. To finish the card I cut out the word Noel from a sheet of double sided sticky tape and once they were attached to the card I covered them with green glitter and I used some blue organza ribbon from my stash.
Here is a closer look at this little cutie pie!! I love him so much!

As this card opens in a slightly unusual way I thought I would add this picture to my post too - if you want to see more of how it works then please yell at me!

So that's my card - please remember to take part on the challenge and to join in all the goings on today, the Sew Many Cards slot at Papercraft Planet is only for an hour and is between 8pm and 8.59pm EST. Also remember to read below for all your ways to win some fab digi stamps and please visit my team mates to see what they came up with.

Take care and enjoy your weekend
